Nature of Incident:	Robbery, Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Simple Assault, Corruption of Minors, and Retail Theft

Person Involved:	Nakia Nadine Morton, age 20, female, Yale Dr, Baltimore, MD (1) adult male - charges pending (2) 15 year old juveniles
Incident Summary:
Morton entered the Giant with a male subject and (2) other females. The subjects began to place items inside purses and were approached by store employees. A female was escorted to the store office. The other subjects began to flee the store. The female in the office began to struggle with employees in an attempt to flee the store with stolen merchandise and Morton intervened, struggled with employees, and sprayed two employees with dog defense spray (similar to pepper spray). The suspects fled in a Lexus car. Maryland State Police located and stopped the vehicle at I-83 and I-695. The subjects were taken into custody. A warrant was obtained in Pennsylvania for the female who sprayed the employees (Morton) for the above listed charges. MSP will have Morton arraigned as a fugitive. Charges of Robbery are pending against the 15 year old juveniles and a retail theft charge is pending against the male subject.
