Officers were called to Park St., Loganville Borough for a domestic
disturbance.
Officers were informed that a male, identified as Jacob Dittenhafer, age 23, was intoxicated and arguing with his wife. During the argument Dittenhafer broke a car window and pulled his wife’s hair. Upon arrival officers attempted to make contact with him. Dittenhafer slammed the garage door and used his body to block the door. Officers were attempting to check the welfare of Dittenhafer after hearing that he may have been injured from the broken glass. Officers opened the rolling garage door, and in doing so Dittenhafer forcefully slammed the garage door, nearly striking officers in the head. The garage door struck an officer’s arms as they made entry into the garage. Dittenhafer was taken into custody for his actions. In doing so, Officers found marijuana and paraphernalia in his pockets. Dittenhafer was charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Harassment, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Dittenhafer was arraigned at central booking and released after posting $7500 bail. | |
