Incident Summary:
On February 4, 2013 at approx. 1911 hours officers of the Southern Regional Police Department were dispatched to the area of S Main St. and Old Farm Lane in Shrewsbury Borough for a disorderly subject.

Several complaints were received of a man yelling profanities at people and passing cars. Officers located the man walking on Constitution Ave and identified him as Gary Thomas Heller(53 years of age) with no fixed address.

Heller stated that he was homeless and admitted that he was yelling at people and cars. Heller informed officers that he was walking from Baltimore, Md to Schwenksville, Pa.

Witnesses reported that the Heller was walking in circles from S. Main and Old Farm to the Goodwill Store, to behind Rutter's, and then to CVS. They reported that he was yelling obscenities very loudly at people and vehicles creating a disturbance. One witness reported that they were outside the CVS Pharmacy and witnessed Heller yelling he had a gun and was going to shoot people which caused them to contact 911.

Heller was placed under arrest for Terroristic Threats and Disorderly Conduct. Heller was transported to central booking and arraigned. Heller was placed into York County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bail.
