Dispatched to the Rutter's for a retail theft of gasoline. A store employee reported a male subject inside the store acting suspicious.
Vehicle fled without paying for $34.60 worth of gasoline. An officer found the suspect vehicle stuck in the snow near the store and took all three subjects into custody. A handgun was found on the front seat next to a passenger and determined to be a CO2 pellet gun that looked like a real handgun. Subjects reported that they were in York City for several days and were trying to get back to Baltimore City. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Baltimore MD and the 17 year old was reported as a runaway. Charges are pending against the juvenile for misdemeanor retail theft and driving without a license. Charges are pending against the 18 year old for false identification to law enforcement authorities and retail theft. Baltimore County Police will be charging the juvenile for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle since the vehicle was taken in their jurisdiction. |
