Incident Summary:
Charges are pending against two New Freedom Juveniles, ages fifteen and sixteen, for using a stolen propane torch to burn lewd graffiti into the wall of the Shrewsbury Wash-n-Store located on Constitution Ave. in Shrewsbury Borough.

The incident occurred on Friday, February 8, 2013 at approx. 1730 hours. The scorching damaged a wash bay wall panel. Fortunately the fire did not extend and cause widespread damage to the existing structure along with the area currently under construction.

Estimated damage to the wash bay is approx. $200.00. The juveniles are currently on probation for a previous vandalism. The two now face charges of Arson, Risking Catastrophe, Conspiracy, Receiving Stolen Property, and Criminal Mischief.

A third juvenile is being charged with the theft of the propane torch.
