Nature of Incident:	Armed Intruder Drill

Incident Summary:
The Southern Regional Police Department, in conjunction with the Southern York County School District and York County Control conducted an armed intruder drill at the Susquehannock High School on Thursday March 29, 2007 at approx. 1400 hours. The drill gave the school and police personnel an opportunity to simulate an event and test the procedures in place for an actual incident.  During the event the school was in lock down as officers responded to a report of an intruder who entered the school with a weapon. The drill was a success due to the assistance and cooperation of the Southern York County School District and York County Control.
