Bail was set by the duty judge at $5,000 and Dawson was released on bail.

Incident Summary:
On Saturday 3/29/2014 Officers responded to a 911 hang up call which turned into a domestic in the parking lot of the Chick-Fil-A in Shrewsbury Borough.

Upon arrival officers located a vehicle blocking the exit of the shopping center. A female exited the vehicle with blood on her face and threw a bag of suspected marijuana at officers. The male driver exited the vehicle and began to confront the female.

While taking the male subject into custody for assaulting the female and drugs, the 22 year old male suspect resisted arrest and an officer sustained minor injures to his hand. A Taser was used to get the suspect under control.
The victimís three year old son was in the vehicle when the victim was assaulted by the male suspect.

The male suspect was transported to central booking for arraignment on the following charges: Aggravated assault (on officer), simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, possession of small amount of marijuana and endangering the welfare of children. The suspects name will be released after arraignment.
