On May 24, 2009 at approx. 0304 hours officer were dispatched to the area Town and Country Dr. in New Freedom Borough, Pa 17349 after an intoxicated man had entered a residence and refused to leave.

The subject then walked out of the residence and was seen breaking out the back window of a vehicle and was spray painting cars.

Officers were advised the subject, that they identified as Robert Lambert, was an Army veteran, and had been talking about having guns inside of his vehicle. Lambert was arguing with people about their lack of combat experience. Officers were also informed that Lambert was last seen walking towards his truck.

Upon arrival officers found Lambert at the rear of a residence holding a shotgun in one hand and rounds for it in the other. Lambert did not get a chance to load the shotgun before being taken into custody. After securing Lambert officers found that he smashed out windows to two vehicles and sprayed paint remover on six vehicles causing approx. $12,000. in damage.

Lambert was charged with Criminal Mischief, Criminal Trespass, Disorderly Conduct, and Public Drunkenness. Lambert was placed into York County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail.
