Incident Summary:
Southern Regional Police have arrested Timothy Sammons Jr. from Ohio and Florida for theft and receiving stolen property involving a bicycle in Glen Rock, possession of marijuana, and public drunkenness. Police were dispatched for a suspicious subject in Glen Rock and learned that the subject had just assaulted someone at the Glen Rock Tavern. The subject left on foot and stole a bicycle from a yard to flee the area. Timothy Sammons Jr. was located on Hanover St. with the stolen bicycle and was taken into custody. Police found marijuana on Sammons. Sammons was also intoxicated and disorderly. Sammons was arrested and transported to central booking for arraignment on theft by unlawful taking or disposition, receiving stolen property, possession of a small amount of marijuana, and public drunkenness. The person assaulted at the bar did not wish to pursue charges.
