Nature of Incident:	Hit and run crash, DUI, possession of controlled substances,           various traffic violations

Incident Summary:
Southern Regional PD was dispatched to 500 block of S. Main St. in Shrewsbury Borough at 0336 hours (am) for crash with hit and run. Officers arrived to find a vehicle crashed into a brick stone fence, a handicap ramp, and then a utility pole. The driver fled on foot. Officers found Ecstasy, Marijuana, and another unknown substance in the vehicle. Officers and Penn State Police searched the area for the driver. Penn State Police later received a phone call around 0545 hours for a male subject walking southbound on I-83 between Shrewsbury and Maryland. PSP arrived, took the suspected driver into custody, and turned the juvenile/suspected driver over to Southern Regional PD. The above listed charges will be filed after toxicology and crime laboratory tests are complete.
