Incident Summary:
On July 13, 2013 officers from the Southern Regional Police Department were notified that Gregory Polsonís nineteen month old daughter was found unattended in his unlocked apartment. Polston left a note for a family member that he was late for work.

Polston was interviewed and explained to officers that the family member is typically there by the time he leaves for work. Polston stated he had no way of contacting the family member and didnít know what to do. Polston stated that he put his daughter down for a nap, wrote the note, and left for work.

It is unknown exactly how long the daughter was left unattended but appeared to be anywhere from fifteen minutes to a half an hour prior to the family member arriving.

Gregory Polson, age 26 of Main St. Glen Rock, was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.

On July 22, 2013 an arrest warrant was issued for Polston. He was taken into custody and transported to central booking for arraignment. Polston was released after posting $20,000 bail.
