Nature of Incident:	Possession with intent to deliver stolen prescription narcotics

Incident Summary:
On 8/3/08 officers were conducting an investigation into stolen prescription narcotics from a residence in Shrewsbury Borough. Through the investigation Miranda Lorraine Cox became a suspect. Officers made contact with Cox in New Freedom and found that she was in possession of the stolen narcotics. Officers recovered about half of the stolen drugs. While interviewing Cox she admitted that she was going to sell the drugs along with using some. Cox was also found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Cox was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Receiving Stolen Property. Cox was placed into York County Prison in lieu of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars bail.
