Incident Summary:
On August 15, 2014 Officers were dispatched to a burglary on Essex Circle Dr. in Shrewsbury Borough after an elderly resident found items missing from her house.

The victim stated that a Hispanic female came to her residence representing herself as a tree trimming business. The female distracted the resident while a Hispanic male entered the residence and stole items.

The resident saw the male leaving through the garage at the time of the incident. The subjects stole cash from inside the residence.

The man and woman were last seen leaving the area in a white SUV with the lift gate open. The woman used the business name of Tri-State Tree Service.

Residents are reminded that people soliciting at their neighborhood should have identification on them stating who they work for and who they are.
