Nature of Incident:	Motorcycle Pursuit

Person Involved:	Michael Lee Hopkins    Age: 37 of Mt. Airy Rd.  Shrewsbury, PA
Incident Summary:
A Honda dirt bike was riding through the parking lot of of Golds Gym when it was observed by police doing wheelies across the parking lot. As the officer attempted to stop the dirt bike the rider evaded police by riding over the embankment. The rider drove through fields, business parking lots, and on the roadway of Far Hills Dr. and Wolfe Rd. Officers finally made contact with the rider, Michael Hopkins. Hopkins was charged with Fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, careless driving, driving an unregistered vehicle, required financial responsibility, operation with no certificate of inspection, operating a vehicle with wrong class of license, and protective equipment for motorcycle riders for not wearing a helmet. Hopkins was transported to central booking for arraignment.
