Andrew Paul SAYLOR, age 27, Manor Rd, Windsor
was charged with: Escape, DUI, Accidents involving personal injury, possession of small amount of marijuana, duty to give information and render aid, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, and driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked. Andrew Purd BORING, age 22, W. Broadway, Red Lion charged with: Disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, and harassment. Southern Regional Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Church St. in Glen Rock on 09/07/2008 at 753pm for a disturbance. On arrival victims reported that a vehicle with two males stopped in the middle of Church St, appeared intoxicated, and began to make derogatory comments towards a female. During the incident a victim was struck with the vehicle, a male subject exited and attempted to assault residents, and then left the area just before police arrived. One victim sustained a hand injury from being struck by the vehicle. Police located one of the subjects at a payphone and while being detained the subject fled on foot and ran off a 8-10 foot wall into a creek behind the Glen Rock library. The subject was found hiding in bushes in the creek and was taken into custody. The subject was identified as SAYLOR and possessed suspected marijuana. SAYLOR was also identified by witnesses as the driver that struck a victim, was intoxicated, and his license was suspended. SAYLOR was charged with the above offenses. Officers then located the passenger in the 100 block of Manchester St. and he was intoxicated and uncooperative. He was identified as Andrew Purd BORING and was charged with the above listed offenses. Both were transported to central booking for arraignment. |
