Southern Regional Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred this morning at 0433 hours at the Rutter's in New Freedom. A white female entered the store, age 18-22, long brown hair pulled back, sun glasses, dark covering over face, black clothing, with white backpack with white "North Face" lettering, displaying a silver revolver. Suspect demanded money and cigarettes. Robbery appears to be related to the Jacobus Rutter's Robbery and the Codorus Twp. Robbery.
