Nature of Incident:	Possible Driveway Seal Scam

Incident Summary:
The Southern Regional Police want the residents of southern York County to be alert of a possible driveway sealing scam. An older white male solicited a resident of New Freedom to seal his asphalt driveway for $200.00. After they agreed that the man would seal the driveway, the man then sprayed a black sealing product onto the driveway that resembled a thick black spray paint. When the homeowner question the man and called police the man left abruptly without payment. There is no crime in this incident, however the Southern Regional Police want all of its residents to be on guard for scams. Always obtain some form of identification and verify the legitimacy of their business before having any work performed or making payment.
