Incident Summary:
Southern Regional P.D. recently arrested a man for DUI, after striking a parked car with his motorcycle, and then fled the scene. While officers were having lunch at a local restaurant, they observed a motorcycle strike a parked car, (which was across from the arresting officers parked patrol car) then leave the scene of the accident. Officers were able to track and stop the motorcycle in front of a local bar, the operator's intended destination. The operator also had his 9 year old son on the back of the motorcycle. According to the 9 year old boy, his father had taken him to other bars in Maryland prior to meeting police. Hornberger also resisted with police when officers were attempting to place him under arrest. The child was then released to his mother.
