Officers were dispatched to W. Penn Street for a disorderly subject that was possibly in a domestic.

As they approached the front door and knocked, they noted that the front glass screen door was inoperable and could not be opened because someone had shut the door with such force that it damaged the door frame. While observing this officers also heard a loud banging coming from inside the residence.

Officers ran to the rear of the residence and found the rear door open. Through the screen door officers could see the kitchen in disarray and dishes broken. Further in the house various Christmas decorations could be seen strewn about the living room floor. Not seeing anyone inside officers yelled for a response. After not getting any answer and fearing for the safety of the persons inside officers made entry inside the house.

Officers made contact with Jason Farmer on the second floor of the residence. farmer was extremely intoxicated and agitated. Farmer became even more agitated as officers attempted to determine the location of his mother who was also involved in the domestic. Farmer said that he was going to fight an officer, clenched his fist, lowered his chin, and started to take a fighting stance.

At this point officers were placing Farmer under arrest for the threat. Farmer fought with officers as they attempted to arrest him. Farmer was subdued by the use of a Taser during the arrest. An officer sustained a small laceration under the right eye and a bloody nose during the arrest.

farmer was charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats, Resisting Arrest, and Harassment. farmer was arraigned at central booking and placed into the York County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
