Nature of Incident:	Theft of Air Conditioning / Heat Pump Unit

Incident Summary:
On 12/21/2011 at 130pm officers from the Southern Regional Police Department received a call for a theft of an outdoor air conditioning and heat pump unit. Suspects cut the electrical and plumbing lines and stole the unit from Nationwide Insurance on Old Farm Lane in Shrewsbury Borough. During the investigation officers also discovered that a ladder was stolen from a truck parked N. Third St. in New Freedom Borough. After the investigation, Justin Michael Hood, age 19, of Cassidy Way in Shrewsbury, was interviewed and charged for both thefts and committed to York County Prison in lieu of bail. Charges are also pending against a 17 year old male juvenile. Charges for Hood are theft, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, and corruption of minors. Damage value for AC/Heat unit was $1900.00
